This job opportunity is with a reputable coffee cafe located in Frisco, Texas, offering welcoming and friendly environments at two key locations: 3033 Ohio Dr Suite 1000 and 7227 Main St Suite 600. This establishment is dedicated to providing exceptional coffee and tea based beverages, combined with outstanding customer service to ensure every guest has a memorable visit. The role centers on the position of Barista and Customer Service Team Member responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and tea beverages including the skillful art of latte art, as well as food preparation and customer service excellence. This position offers entry-level wages starting at $11 per hour plus tips for beginners and $12 plus tips for those with barista experience. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of one year of experience, although applicants under 18 may be considered if legally permissible. The role is designed for hardworking, dependable individuals who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable lifting up to 30 pounds. It is well-suited to those re-entering the workforce, people with gaps in their resume, or those newly entering the labor market.
Employees will be expected to work 30 or more hours a week, with non-seasonal employment and shifts spread across mornings, mid-days, and closing times. Core responsibilities include greeting and welcoming customers warmly, taking orders efficiently using Revel POS systems, memorizing and delivering detailed descriptions of drinks and food offerings, and maintaining cleanliness in all work and customer areas. This ensures a pleasant and hygienic environment for both employees and patrons. The role further involves processing payments, handling cash, balancing cash tills, and assisting in baking or preparing quick-service food items such as muffins, pastries, and bagels with fast ticket times.
