Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum two years of barista experience
prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
strong interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays
basic math skills for cash handling
ability to stand for extended periods
passion for coffee and customer service
commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Job Duties

Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks to meet quality standards
maintain a clean, organized workspace and coffee station
take customer orders, ensure accuracy, and deliver orders promptly
engage with customers and provide exceptional service
operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment (espresso machines, grinders, etc.)
monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed (milk, syrups, coffee beans, etc.)
follow health and safety regulations for food and beverage handling
lead the shift, ensuring all team members are performing their duties effectively
mentor and train junior baristas and staff, ensuring they understand processes and standards
oversee opening and closing procedures for the café, ensuring smooth transitions
manage cash register, process payments, and ensure accurate cash handling
address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction
monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the café
help manage staff schedules and ensure proper staffing levels
