Job Requirements
- Maintain punctuality and attendance consistently
- Availability for flexible work hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Comply with store operating policies and standards
- Six months of relevant work experience
- Ability to coach others in food and beverage preparation
- Experience in task delegation
- Ability to work in person at Palo Alto, CA location
Job Qualifications
- Experience in customer service roles involving constant interaction and fulfillment of requests
- Ability to prepare and coach food and beverage preparation according to recipes
- Experience delegating or coordinating tasks among employees
- Effective oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of the retail environment
- Ability to direct the work of others
Job Duties
- Manage all day to day operations of the coffee shop
- Operate robotic coffee shop equipment
- Interact with customers and guide them through ordering drinks
- Maintain equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns and performing preventive maintenance
- Train and manage barista staff
- Educate customers on the menu and make recommendations
- Contribute to building learning and development guides for engineering development
