Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to stand for extended periods
strong time management skills
ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends
basic math skills
positive attitude and team player mindset
ability to operate cash registers or POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required
familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus
strong customer service skills
basic knowledge of retail math for handling transactions
ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
willingness to learn and adapt

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards
operate the espresso machine, grinders, and other equipment with precision
maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and seating areas
engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently
handle cash transactions using the POS system and ensure accurate cash register operations
provide recommendations on menu items based on customer preferences
monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies
assist in restocking as needed
adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere
