Job Requirements
- Certified Food Handler license required
- ability to stand and remain active for up to approximately eight hours per shift
- previous retail, coffee shop, café, or food and beverage experience preferred
- ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized barista station in accordance with food safety, sanitation, and environmental standards
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English
- professional demeanor and guest-focused attitude
Job Qualifications
- Certified Food Handler
- previous retail, coffee shop, café, or food and beverage experience preferred
- strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- basic written communication skills
- ability to comprehend reading materials and effectively speak, read, and write English
- ability to maintain a neat, professional, and guest-ready appearance at all times
Job Duties
- Greet, serve, and engage guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, creating a welcoming café experience
- accurately prepare and fulfill food and beverage orders in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- perform cashier duties, including accurate cash handling, processing multiple forms of payment, and operating the POS system
- quickly learn and apply service standards, beverage and food recipes, preparation techniques, and POS procedures
- maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked barista station
- communicate low inventory levels to leadership and assist with stocking and inventory as needed
- conduct oneself professionally at all times
