Job Requirements

Minimum one year of restaurant experience, preferably in an upscale high volume environment
Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol based on applicable state law
Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws and regulations
Thorough understanding of safe and perceptive service
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
Ability to do basic math and handle cash
Ability to work with Point of Sale systems
Highly organized - demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize needs, put first things first, and effectively manage resources and time
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Maintain a courteous, efficient and welcoming entrance to the restaurant or bar
Oversee the restaurant's grab and go station
Greet and welcome guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
Provide prompt, quality service to customers by preparing beverages and serving guests according to standard operating procedures
Suggest beverages and upsell to premium products as appropriate
Maintain adequate levels of beverages and glassware at all times and display beverages attractively on cart
Maintain cleanliness of outlet at all times
Maintain knowledge of bar outlet inventory and selection to respond properly to customer questions
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of beverage recipes and mixing procedures
Adhere to legal and Managed Hotels policies and standards
Understand and follow laws and guidelines for beverage service
Handle cash, checks and/or credit cards in accordance with Radisson policies
Record accurate consumption at the end of each function and report to supervisor
Create 100 percent guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
Give personal attention, take personal responsibility and use teamwork when providing guest service
Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution and follow through when resolving guest problems
Provide Yes I Can genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
Notice when the guest is not satisfied and use best judgment to ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction
Perform other duties as required by management to provide genuine hospitality to guests
