As a Barista at Peet's Coffee, you are more than just someone who prepares coffee; you are a key part of a vibrant team that values authenticity, passion, and continuous improvement. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule along with competitive pay ranging from $20.25 to $20.75 per hour depending on location and experience. Baristas may also earn an average of $3.00 to $6.00 per hour in tips, adding to their income. In this role, your main responsibility will be to craft delicious, high-quality coffee beverages and products while creating an exceptional customer experience in line with Peet's service standards. You will engage with customers warmly, contribute to a positive and team-oriented work atmosphere, and uphold cleanliness and organization throughout your shift. Job Requirements

  • Maintain schedule availability of a minimum of two days a week or more that must also meet business needs including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located
  • Be at least 16 years of age or older
  • Comply with Peet's Employment of Minors policies and work with and among minors
  • Perform various physical tasks during the work shift

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by consistently following Peet's service steps with quality engagement and friendly service
  • Prepare handcrafted beverages and products to Peet's high standards in taste, appearance, and consistency
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace by collaborating with coworkers, seeking feedback and taking initiative to support operations
  • Drive sales through suggestive selling, product education, and sampling, helping customers discover and enjoy Peet's offerings
  • Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks throughout the shift
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffeebar while demonstrating urgency and composure in a fast-paced setting
