About This Position

The role of a Cashier and Barista at Genuine Foods is more than just handling transactions and preparing beverages; it’s about being an ambassador of the Genuine culture within a school environment. The job is full-time and hourly, located at UTPB Odessa in Texas, with a competitive pay range of $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Genuine’s high-quality customer service by greeting and engaging warmly with clientele, crafting carefully prepared beverages, operating cash registers accurately while adhering to cash handling protocols, and ensuring that food safety standards are consistently met. Additionally, employees maintain a clean workspace, assist fellow team members, and perform any other assigned duties that contribute to the smooth operation of the food service environment.

Candidates for this position should be flexible, team-oriented, and possess at least one year of experience in food or customer service in a medium to high-volume setting such as a restaurant or food service facility. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work in a school environment are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to climb stairs and lift up to fifty pounds, demonstrating that this role is both physically active and rewarding.
