This position is for a full-time Barista role located at Charles Schwab - 9800 Schwab Way, Lone Tree, CO 80124. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with additional details available upon interview. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, reflecting the value placed on quality customer service and skilled beverage preparation. The company invites applicants eager to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment where friendliness and efficiency are paramount.
The Barista role is a vital part of the customer service team, responsible for crafting coffee and espresso drinks alongside related food and beverage items. This position requires adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines to ensure the safe handling and presentation of food and beverages, maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. The Barista will interact regularly with customers and colleagues, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
Essential job functions include preparing espresso beverages to standard recipes and measures, accurately processing orders and payments through POS systems, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area, and ensuring all food and drink items are served at optimal temperatures and presentation standards. The Barista will replenish supplies as needed, uphold sanitation protocols rigorously, and clean equipment and workstations thoroughly before shift completion.
Customer engagement is a key component of the role; the Barista must greet patrons courteously, respond to inquiries about menu items knowledgeably, and promote sales through excellent communication and assistance in customer selections. Efficiency in serving customers quickly and managing service lines to avoid delays is critical for success in this role.
For those with prior barista experience, the role offers an opportunity to apply and expand those skills; however, previous experience is preferred but not mandatory, as Compass Group provides full training to new hires. Customer service experience is required to ensure the high standards of interaction expected by the company’s clientele.
Employees at Eurest benefit from a robust array of company perks including paid holidays and time off, uniforms, internal employee referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits packages. Full-time associates are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, commuter benefits, and employee assistance programs among others. The company also encourages diversity, equity, and inclusion, committing to a fair hiring process and supportive work environment.
This position is ideally suited for energetic, service-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting and who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Joining Compass Group through Eurest means becoming part of a globally recognized organization that values personal development, teamwork, and community engagement while offering career growth opportunities within the foodservice industry.
