This job opening is for a full-time Barista position located at Fidelity Investments in Durham, North Carolina. The Barista role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, providing consistent and stable working hours with competitive pay ranging between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour. This position involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso drinks along with related food and beverage items, all in accordance with HACCP food safety standards. The ideal candidate will engage warmly with customers and coworkers, maintaining a neat and efficient service area while upholding Compass Group's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

The Barista will be responsible for accurately taking orders through point of sale (POS) systems, handling cash and credit transactions, and ensuring that every beverage and food item served meets preset guidelines for presentation, portion control, and temperature. Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of product offerings are essential to recommend and prepare items that meet customer preferences. This role is customer-centric, requiring excellent communication skills and a cheerful, proactive attitude to foster a great customer experience and smooth service flow. Furthermore, the Barista will contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the work area, equipment, and utensils, supporting a hygienic and welcoming environment.
