As a part-time barista at The Clawson Cafe, your role revolves around providing outstanding service and expertly preparing coffee and espresso drinks to meet the cafe’s high standards. You will engage with customers using a tailored order-creating approach that emphasizes rapport building, listening, and fast, friendly service. Beyond preparing beverages, you will be responsible for ensuring the cafe remains welcoming and well-stocked, keeping baked goods fresh and merchandise neatly displayed. You will follow all operational standards accurately, including safety and health codes, while operating equipment such as the POS system, coffee makers, and espresso machines in a fast-paced environment. This position requires managing a high volume of customer orders efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor.

In addition to your primary duties, you will assist in cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, tools, and equipment, ensuring the cafe meets health and cleanliness standards. A food handler's certification may be required depending on your assigned duties.
