Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles preferred
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and technology
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Job Duties
- Greet customers cheerfully and answer their questions
- Prepare food and beverages accurately and efficiently
- Operate registers and process transactions quickly
- Maintain café cleanliness, including daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- Unpack and stock deliveries following FIFO procedures
- Support visual merchandising and maintain tidy café and retail fixtures
- Assist bookstore team as needed
