With a strong focus on values such as People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, the company fosters a culture of respect, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
The Barista role at HHM Hotels is a vital part of delivering memorable guest experiences. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing quality coffee and beverage services in alignment with the company’s guest service and sustainability standards. This position offers potential growth opportunities moving towards roles such as Head Barista, Host or Hostess, and Guest Service Agent, making it an ideal choice for individuals looking to build a rewarding career within the hospitality industry.
In this role, you will engage directly with guests, taking coffee, beverage, and food orders, accurately entering them into the point-of-sale (POS) system, managing payments, and preparing orders with care and precision. Your focus will include maintaining cleanliness and organization within your workspace, performing opening and closing duties such as setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring appliances are operated at appropriate times. Adherence to safety and health standards, including OSHA and MSDS guidelines, is paramount to this role, along with compliance with all state, federal, and corporate policies regarding food and alcoholic beverage handling.
Additionally, you will contribute to HHM Hotels’ EarthView sustainability program by following environmentally responsible practices, underscoring the company’s commitment to sustainable operations. The Barista position requires physical activity such as standing for long periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other movements that support efficient work performance. This varied work schedule may include weekends and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of hospitality service.
HHM Hotels offers competitive wages for both full-time and part-time position holders, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k company match to support employee financial wellbeing. Additional perks like daily pay access, free basic life insurance, travel discounts, commuter benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, and professional development opportunities underline the company’s investment in employee satisfaction and growth.
By joining HHM Hotels as a Barista, you become an integral part of a team that values excellence, inclusivity, and sustainable service delivery. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about coffee culture and superior guest service, willing to develop their skills within a supportive and forward-thinking hospitality environment.
