This opportunity is for Full-time Barista positions located at Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202. Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for these roles, with a full-time schedule running Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position offers a competitive pay rate between $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Online applications are accepted exclusively for consideration.

As a Barista at Morrison Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in making and serving coffee and espresso drinks, alongside related food and beverage items. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of espresso orders following standardized measures and recipes, handling transactions accurately through point-of-sale (POS) devices, and maintaining the cleanliness and proper presentation of the service area and equipment. You will be expected to adhere to food safety standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines, ensuring quality and sanitation at all times. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will interact with customers and colleagues courteously, addressing concerns and assisting in the buying decision process. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior barista experience preferred
availability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Duties

Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
enters orders accurately into POS device
accepts cash and charge payments
replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
follows HACCP standards
maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
serves customers quickly and efficiently and prevents delays in serving lines
demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
serves food neatly and attractively per standard
performs other duties as assigned
