Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation sanitation standards and inventory control systems
- Starbucks Barista certification may be required depending on account
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Job Duties
- Greets all guests and provides quick friendly and personalized service
- Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee espresso cappuccino cafe latte tea chai fruit blend drinks considering customer specifications
- Maintains good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food items
- Educates guests regarding menu offerings and initiates suggestive selling
- Arranges coffee bar supplies and cups/mugs to create attractive displays
- Cleans coffee machines restaurant and preparation areas regularly
- Records all sales collects money operates cash register following all cash-handling procedures
- Walks or stands for extended periods during shifts which may exceed 8 hours
- Attends work and shows for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
