Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or food industry preferred
- basic math skills
- ability to operate cash registers or POS systems
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including day shifts
- ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required training will be provided
- strong math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts
- familiarity with cash registers or POS systems experience with Aloha POS is a plus
- excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
- genuine passion for coffee culture and food safety practices is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages teas and other specialty drinks with precision and care
- operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently ensuring accurate cash handling and transactions
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area including equipment and workstations
- engage with customers to provide personalized service answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
- monitor inventory levels of coffee beans milk syrups and other supplies assist in restocking as needed
- adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
- collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
