The Barista position at Sodexo Live, located at Shedd Aquarium, offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in a part-time, rotational shift capacity, with pay ranging from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. As a Barista with Sodexo Live, you will greet guests warmly, prepare and serve an array of hot and cold beverages including coffee varieties like espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, and fruit blend drinks. You will frequently maintain clean work areas and coffee equipment, handle cash transactions accurately, and keep the coffee bar and supply displays inviting and well-stocked. This role requires physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods during shifts that may exceed eight hours, and the ability to lift and move substantial weight occasionally. The role encourages initiative with suggestive selling to educate guests about menu offerings and ensure a positive customer experience.
