As a barista and customer service professional, you will greet and engage guests, maintain high standards of coffee preparation including batch brew and pour over methods, and ensure smooth daily operations by adhering to cash handling and communication protocols. The role requires multitasking, maintaining composure under pressure, flexibility in managing tasks, punctuality, and teamwork. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous food preparation and food service experience preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Strong commitment to punctuality and reliability
Ability to follow cash handling policies
Willingness to learn and participate in training programs

Job Duties

Love quality coffee and sharing that passion with guests
Greet and interact with all customers providing everyone with an excellent experience in our stores
Maintain a positive demeanor in a busy environment where multitasking, cleaning, and effective communication are requirements
Prepare batch brew and pour over coffee according to our standards of quality
Maintain coffee knowledge on current offerings and confidently and accurately communicate product information to customers
Taste coffee each shift worked to improve product knowledge
Properly handle and maintain all coffee brewing equipment
Follow cash handling and cash register policies and procedures
Communicate with team members and management to solve problems and improve service
Work well in a team environment
Be punctual and reliable to work your scheduled shifts
Be flexible with changing priorities and tasks
Remain calm and composed under pressure
