Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems
- Availability for varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods exceeding 8 hours
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, or pull, and lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Punctuality and reliability in attending scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control systems
- Certification for Starbucks Baristas may be required
- Ability to maintain professionalism and effective communication with customers
- Ability to work flexible shifts including varying days and hours
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing and lifting
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
- Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks while considering customer specifications
- Maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of all beverages and food items
- Educate guests regarding menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- Arrange coffee bar and cart supplies and cups/mugs to create attractive displays
- Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation areas regularly
- Record all sales, collect money, operate cash register, and follow cash-handling procedures
- Attend scheduled shifts on time and demonstrate satisfactory regularity
- Perform physical tasks including walking or standing for extended periods, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
