The role of a Barista at RH is critical in delivering world-class service to guests. This position involves not only the preparation of coffee, tea, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages but also extends to ensuring that guests feel welcomed and engaged in the RH environment. The Barista plays an integral part in sustaining the brand’s commitment to excellent hospitality by managing the barista bar setup and breakdown, having thorough knowledge of the menu offerings, and maintaining the equipment and cleanliness of the bar area. Additionally, the Barista acts as an ambassador for RH by answering guest inquiries related to the property and connecting guests with other associates for further assistance.

This role requires experience with food and beverage service, knowledge of coffee programs, and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros. Given the luxury nature of the brand, attention to detail and exceptional customer interaction skills are essential. The Barista must be physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. Proper alcohol and food certifications according to state laws are mandatory for compliance and guest safety.
