Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Standing for extended periods of time (4 hour intervals)
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in coffee preparation preferred
- Experience in food service preferred

- Ability to read documents such as safety rules, recipes, instructions, etc
- Knowledge and passion for coffee, with a desire to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Job Duties
- Provide awesome customer service as a brand ambassador for Blackout Baking Co
- Dialing in coffee to the best tasting parameters and tasting those parameters daily
- Create beverages to order in a timely manner and with a high level of consistency to meet standards
- Identify customer needs and make recommendations for new products
- Understands and complies with the menu, standards, and procedures of Blackout Baking Co
- Complete shift checklists and maintain accurate inventory
- Properly store, label, and package finished product
- Set-up and cleanup of barista space including sanitizing, dishes, and mopping
- Responds positively to regular feedback given by the Manager on Duty
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Café cleanliness and maintenance
- Assist with all other tasks, as needed
