Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverages, cash handling and safety
  • Engage with and understand customers by discovering and responding to their needs
  • Prepare food and beverages to standard or customized recipes
  • Available to perform various tasks during each shift
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Experience in customer service welcomed but not required

Job Duties

  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote Starbucks culture, values and mission
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example
  • Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating the environment and customers for cues
  • Communicate information to the manager to help the team respond and create the Third Place environment
  • Assist with new partner training by reinforcing successful performance and coaching as needed
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and communicating them
  • Deliver legendary customer service by connecting with customers and responding to their needs
  • Follow operational policies for cash handling, safety, and security
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Provide quality beverages and food products consistently by adhering to recipes and standards
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
