The Power Plant is an innovative coffee trailer set to open soon at Natividad Hospital in Salinas, California. As a dynamic and community-focused mobile coffee service, The Power Plant is committed to delivering exceptional coffee experiences while fostering a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Serving a variety of carefully curated coffee beverages with a keen attention to quality and detail, The Power Plant aims to become a beloved local destination for premium coffee and outstanding hospitality. Its unique location within Natividad Hospital not only enhances convenience for healthcare workers and visitors but also underscores the brand's dedication to supporting and energizing the community.
We are currently seeking experienced baristas to join our team and be an integral part of this exciting new venture. As a barista at The Power Plant, you will play a crucial role in crafting delicious coffee beverages and creating memorable guest interactions in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coffee and thrive in collaborative workspaces. Your primary focus will be delivering impeccable hospitality, preparing a range of drinks including espresso, chai, matcha, non-coffee beverages, and cold brew using various brewing techniques. Beyond beverage preparation, you will support day-to-day operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and overall smooth functioning of the trailer. This includes washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, managing condiment stations, and handling trash disposal.

Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Passionate about coffee and hospitality
- Reliable with punctuality
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Deliver impeccable hospitality to guests and teammates
- Prepare a selection of coffees using espresso, chai, matcha, non-coffee drinks, and cold brew brewing methods
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards of beverage quality
- Support cafe operations by washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and organizing condiment stations, and taking out trash
- Ensure the coffee trailer is clean, organized, and operating smoothly
