The Barista position at Eurest is a full-time role located at Samsung in Taylor, Texas. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional coffee and customer service experiences. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks alongside related food and beverage items, adhering strictly to HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality. This position requires interaction with customers and co-workers in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring a positive and efficient service environment. Working hours are full-time with possible variations in days and schedules, details of which will be shared during the interview process. The pay range for this role is competitive, from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, and the company is open to training candidates who are enthusiastic and committed, even if prior barista experience is preferred but not mandatory.

The role involves handling orders with precision, using POS devices for transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior barista experience preferred
Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
Availability to work full-time with flexible days and hours
Ability to follow HACCP food safety guidelines
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain cleanliness of work area
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Willingness to learn and adapt
Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior barista experience is preferred
Ability to operate POS devices accurately
Strong customer service and communication skills
Understanding of HACCP food safety standards
Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machine operation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and be trained on job-specific skills

Job Duties

Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
Enters orders accurately into POS device
accepts cash and charge payments
Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
follows HACCP standards
Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
Relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
Serves customers quickly and efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines
Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
Serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
Serves food neatly and attractively per standard
Performs other duties as assigned
