The Food Services Department at Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a dedicated full-time Barista to join their Burnet Campus team. This is a regular, full-time position with a rotating shift schedule to support continuous service, requiring the individual to work approximately 40 hours per week. The expected pay range for this role is estimated between $17.83 to $20.99 per hour, although the salary is annualized based on full-time equivalent status. The Barista will be an integral part of the food services team, providing excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, accurately taking their orders, and recommending beverages based on their preferences. The role demands maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety protocols, and restocking supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
The barista will be responsible for preparing coffee and tea beverages according to Starbucks standards using established recipes and operating the coffee machines and related equipment efficiently and consistently. The position requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Experience as a barista or a similar customer service role is preferred, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
