The Barista role at Blue Bottle Coffee is both dynamic and central to sustaining the company’s mission. This position is hourly, with compensation starting at $17.20 per hour plus tips averaging approximately $5-9 per shift hour. Job Duties

  • deliver exceptional hospitality to guests teammates vendors and suppliers

  • stay knowledgeable about current beverage and food offerings and preparation techniques through tastings cuppings and trainings
  • taste beverages regularly to ensure quality uphold standards and develop palate

  • support team by performing tasks to keep the cafe running smoothly such as cleaning dishwashing sweeping dusting mopping organizing condiment stations and trash removal
  • uphold and follow all health food safety and safety guidelines

  • complete Blue Bottle Academy training and 90-day validation post-hire
