Job Requirements

1+ year barista experience including manual espresso and milk steaming
manual dexterity to carry various objects, operate order terminal, and operate kitchen/barista equipment
team player with good communication skills
patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
very good physical condition and endurance
positive and welcoming presence with guests

Job Duties

Greet and care for all guests
answer customer questions regarding ingredients using a deep and confident knowledge of our menu
take orders while paying attention to details such as preferences of coffee blend and dairy
craft hand-tamped Intelligentsia coffee drinks
serve beverages and prepared food such as cookies, pastries, and muffins
receive and process payments including cash and credit cards
keep the bar area clean
maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
comply with health and safety regulations
communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
