BigFoot Java is a well-established coffee company known for its commitment to delivering high-quality coffee beverages and exceptional customer service. Based in Pacific, Washington, this company has built a loyal customer base through its dedication to excellence, innovation in the coffee industry, and a friendly, energetic atmosphere. BigFoot Java operates coffee stands that provide convenient, fast, and friendly service to customers, making it a popular stop for coffee lovers in the Pacific Northwest. The company fosters a dynamic and positive work environment where employees are encouraged to grow, engage deeply with the brand, and contribute to a team-focused culture.
The Barista role at BigFoot Java is both engaging and essential in maintaining the company’s reputation for excellent coffee and customer service. As a Barista, you will be at the forefront of customer interaction, welcoming patrons, educating them on the Beverage menus, and expertly preparing a range of coffee beverages to consistently high standards. This is not just about making coffee; it is about creating an experience that customers value and want to return for. The Barista is responsible for managing daily operations, which include cash handling, using POS systems, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the coffee stand, and maintaining quality control throughout their shift.
This position requires a balance of work ethic, passion for coffee, teamwork, and a sincere desire to meet customer needs. While prior experience in coffee preparation is preferred, it is not mandatory, as BigFoot Java values a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to contribute to a supportive team environment. The job offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $17.15 plus tips, with earnings potentially reaching up to $30.00 an hour, overtime pay, and benefits such as paid time off, 401K after 90 days, and free coffee beverages during shifts. Baristas must be at least 18 years old and capable of standing for long periods, handling repetitive motions, and lifting up to 30 pounds. The role may also require occasional meetings at the corporate office.
Working as a Barista at BigFoot Java means becoming part of a company that values excellence, integrity, and community. You will engage daily with customers, solve service challenges, and positively contribute to the workplace culture and morale. The opportunity to grow within the company and stay knowledgeable about products ensures this role is not just a job but a meaningful career path for those passionate about coffee and customer service.
