Barista

Job Description

As the barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a

wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail and working quickly & accurately

will help ensure your success. You'll also be responsible for keeping your station and

the larger establishment clean and stocked. Being a barista offers you a community of

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher;
• Fast food or retail experience is preferred;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask;
• Acceptable verbal English communication skill;
• Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts;
• Enforce Health Department Regulations and be ServSafe certified;
• Available to work at least 20 hours a week; weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred.
• Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages
• Share knowledge and suggest menu items to customers
• Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment

This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
