The role we are hiring for is an AMAZING Barista who is enthusiastic and customer-focused. This position requires an individual who loves coffee, enjoys engaging with people, and excels in a fast-paced setting. As a Barista at Scooter's Coffee, you would be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages according to company standards with speed and accuracy. The role also involves greeting customers warmly, taking orders precisely, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, and handling both cash and card transactions securely. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the coffeehouse and following all health, safety, and food-handling guidelines are crucial aspects of the job. Teamwork is highly emphasized, with Baristas expected to collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive atmosphere.

This position offers flexible scheduling opportunities, making it ideal for students or individuals with other work or life commitments. Availability between early morning hours from 5:00 AM to evening shifts until 6:00 PM is preferred. Weekend and holiday shifts will be required on a rotating basis, with increased wages offered for those times. The hourly pay is competitive, complemented by tips from cash and credit card transactions. Additional perks include an employee discount featuring one free drink per shift, and 50% off any drink outside of your shift.
