As a Brewista at 7Brew, you will be an essential part of the Brew Crew responsible for bringing happiness and satisfaction to customers each day. This role requires a blend of interpersonal skills, speed, and attention to detail. Brewistas engage with customers to take accurate orders, prepare premium drinks including premixed flavors and teas, and ensure the coffee stand is orderly by performing stocking and cleaning duties throughout the shift. Job Requirements
- Works a flexible schedule
- Works a minimum of three shifts per week
- Follows company procedure for communicating time off requests
- Regularly works necessary shifts including weekends and holidays if necessary
Job Qualifications
- Ability to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers up to five minutes at a time
- Ability to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
- Ability to work outside for prolonged periods regardless of weather
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand comfortably for hours
- Ability to climb a ladder and use a stepladder
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary
- Ability to safely walk between and around cars in the drive-thru line
- Ability to safely use a utility knife
Job Duties
- Converse with customers to confirm their drink orders and correctly key in orders to the point of sale system
- Collect payments and correctly count back change to customers
- Prepare all drinks and premixes accurately
- Move with urgency and customer focus throughout shifts
- Stay productive and proactive even during slow business periods
- Make personal connections with customers through genuine interactions and positive body language
- Know the menu and drink offerings thoroughly, assist customers in selecting desired drinks
- Dress appropriately and bring best self to work daily
- Execute shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores as needed
- Clock in and be ready to work at shift start
- Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following sanitation regulations
