The Barista role at Sodexo, based at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital location, is a full-time position with morning shifts that vary in days, offering a competitive pay range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. As a Barista, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for crafting high-quality, hand-prepared hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks. This position is not just about making coffee; it's about artistry and championing fair-trade principles, contributing to the customer experience by bringing smiles and making a positive impact with your everyday actions. The role involves operating cash registers, handling various payment methods, maintaining cleanliness of coffee machines, preparation areas, and restrooms, and ensuring an inviting and spotless environment for guests. Job Duties

  • Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks
  • Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
  • Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned varying by account and business necessities
