This particular opportunity entails employment with a franchisee of Scooter's Coffee in St. Joseph, MO, at their new South Belt location opening in late July. Franchise owners operate independently and set their own terms of employment, including wages and benefits, which may vary. The baristas will be responsible for making fast, friendly service a standard by preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other related products with consistency and care.

The position provides a competitive wage paid biweekly, cash tips accumulated and paid daily, and additional credit card or mobile app tips. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve beverages, and sweet offerings according to service standards
  • Clean, sanitize and maintain store cleanliness
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
  • Stock and replenish food, beverages, and utensils as needed
  • Efficiently serve customers with knowledge of offerings
  • Research and resolve quality and service complaints and/or issues
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and distributing deliveries
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
