This role is for a Barista within Coach Coffee Shops, a part of the experiential retail environment that brings together the brand’s lifestyle aesthetics with an inviting hospitality element. This hourly position includes tips and is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and food items, crafting beverages with care, and creating memorable experiences for guests that align with the Coach brand’s high standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of various coffee types, brewing methods, and customization options to cater to customer preferences. The Barista will demonstrate excellent guest engagement skills, warmly welcoming customers and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience. This role is also integral in maintaining operational excellence, which includes managing cleanliness, ensuring food safety standards, and supporting visual merchandising and floor set standards to uphold the store’s aesthetics.
Team collaboration is another key aspect of this role, as the Barista will work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience, share selling strategies, and celebrate successes. The Barista’s responsibilities include operating espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to prepare handcrafted beverages that meet recipe and customer specifications. This position requires flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
