Baristas are the face of High Plains Coffee at every customer interaction, tasked with creating genuine connections and educating customers about products, suggesting gift cards or complementary merchandise, and handling all sales transactions efficiently and accurately. They manage cash responsibly, maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of store equipment, restock supplies, and ensure the overall store appearance meets company standards. The role demands attention to detail, self-motivation, dependability, and the ability to multitask within a team environment to maintain optimal workflow. Physically, the job requires standing and walking most of the time, occasional stooping or kneeling, carrying weights up to 35 pounds, and performing frequent manual movements.

This is a part-time position with hourly pay starting from $9.50, with morning shifts paying $10.50 per hour. In addition, baristas receive tips as supplemental income.
