This particular role is for a Barista position with a franchisee of Scooter's Coffee. Franchisees operate as independent business owners and set their own terms of employment, including wages and benefits which can vary. The Barista plays a crucial role in creating a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and delivering consistent, quality products. This position requires performing all job duties in accordance with company processes and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Wage can vary by time of day, with nighttime and weekend shifts offering up to $15 per hour plus tips, and daytime shifts up to $16 per hour plus tips.

The Barista is the face of the store, responsible for greeting and connecting with customers, answering questions, and promoting products and gift cards. They handle order solicitation, sale processing, and manage cash drawers following cash handling procedures. Baristas serve all customer orders following recipe and presentation guidelines, deliver products quickly, and identify drinks upon delivery. They also operate and keep all store equipment clean, optimize workflow by restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in customer and coworker areas. A successful Barista must demonstrate energy, flexibility, dependability, and the ability to learn quickly and multitask effectively.
