Job Requirements

  • At least 6 months of on-the-job training or experience directly related to the accountabilities specified
  • Ability to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality
  • Ability to be physically mobile and stand or walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required

  • Demonstrated money-handling and math skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register

Job Duties

  • Determine guest needs and suggest products to enhance service and meet sales goals
  • Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages, whole bean, pastry and retail purchases
  • Prepare a variety of beverage orders according to established recipes and outlet standards
  • Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions and transports monies to and from the main credit cage
  • Ensure outlet is setup, maintained and stocked according to established standards
  • Uses and maintains all assigned areas and equipment in a sanitary, safe and effective manner
  • Perform all job functions in conjunction with the guidelines described in the Standard Operating Procedures manual to ensure consistent execution of company and department standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
