Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work mornings with shifts beginning between 5:30am and 8:00am
  • relevant training and experience required
  • knowledge of applicable health, safety, and legal regulations
  • ability to timely obtain required licenses or certificates
  • high school education preferred
  • excellent mathematical and computer skills
  • one year of barista experience is a plus
  • ability to assist individuals with disabilities

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests according to StepStone and hotel standards
  • anticipate and address guests' needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • provide quality beverages and food products consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
  • follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
  • handle closing of guest transactions
  • close out register and balance cash for shift
  • keep cash funds secured
  • complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and cleaning equipment
  • bus coffee cart areas and tables
  • set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • check with guests to ensure service and food quality are satisfactory
  • notify manager immediately of any guest complaints
  • practice and observe all safety rules
  • assist all service personnel as requested
  • maintain and follow cash handling procedures
  • accurately use POS system
