Job Requirements

1-3 years of retail or hospitality experience
ability to work flexible hours
basic math skills
ability to handle money accurately
physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
effective communication skills
willingness to assist in multiple service areas as needed

Job Qualifications

Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests
have working knowledge of cafe/restaurant operations
possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register
be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

Take customer orders, prepare bagels, sandwiches, salads, etc.
step in to help in any of the service areas as needed
accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change if applicable
present food/drink options, make recommendations and answer questions regarding our products
maintain cleanliness in all areas of the cafe
report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to General Manager
assist the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies
be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the General Manager or immediate supervisor
