Job Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
- Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and welcoming demeanor
- Availability to work evenings , weekends , and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon their arrival , Manage reservations through phone and online platforms , Organize and coordinate seating arrangements balancing guest preferences and table availability , Handle waitlist management during peak hours and provide estimated wait times , Provide information on menus , specials , and promotions to guests , Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and special requests , Maintain cleanliness and order at the host stand and waiting area , Bid guests farewell and collect feedback
