Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays
  • must have open availability on weekdays, particularly mornings
  • physical ability to unpack products and sort them including bend and lift to up to 35 pounds
  • perform repetitive motion with hands and wrists
  • stand for extended periods of time
  • must be able to stand and move about the restaurant over the shift
  • must be able to multitask and follow directions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of high volume barista experience
  • ability to multitask and follow directions
  • capability to work flexible days and hours including weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of product offerings and preparation standards
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to foster positive guest relationships
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • adherence to appearance and grooming guidelines

Job Duties

  • Welcome all guests in our restaurant with a warm and inviting demeanor
  • work closely with other baristas and MSCC staff to make all menu items as instructed
  • provide efficient and personal service to each and every customer
  • create unique relationships with regular guests by learning their names and favorite orders
  • stay informed on products and share knowledge with coworkers and guests
  • maintain the highest degree of quality and consistency in product standards
  • collect and process payment using our POS system
  • communicate with team members and management to solve problems
  • participate in maintaining a positive work environment
  • use all supplies and equipment in safe, efficient and responsible manner
  • punch in and report to the Manager/Supervisor on Duty on time for every shift
  • obtain manager's or supervisor's approval prior to punching out
  • perform all other related duties as assigned
