Job Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Standing 80 percent of the time, walking 20 percent
Frequent movement of objects

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food preparation or service preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Good communication skills
Team-oriented attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods
Basic cooking skills

Job Duties

Responsible for preparation work of menu items as assigned by Lead Barista including but not limited to slicing, dicing, chopping, cutting, rolling, mixing, washing, rinsing, panning, slacking
Responsible for efficiently and proficiently serving customers on the serving lines during meal service times
Perform simple cooking tasks such as one step heating (i.e. scoop and bake cookies) as assigned by Lead Barista
Responsible for maintaining proper food safety and handling techniques per applicable food code and HACCP standards
Responsible for following and enforcing proper safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Conduct duties in an orderly and professional manner and to standards of Southern Foodservice code of conduct
Must follow direction of Lead Barista in carrying out duties and procedures as assigned
