Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • barista, specialty drink certification, or equivalent required
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • ability to maintain sanitary work environment
  • weekend availability
  • ability to work part-time (20 hours)
  • ability to follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • ability to interact courteously with patients, visitors, and staff

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • barista, specialty drink certification, or equivalent
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, and explain policies with courtesy and tact

Job Duties

  • Take coffee, other beverages and food orders accurately
  • prepare and serve beverages and sandwiches and pastries
  • accurately process transactions through POS and while using correct cash handling
  • provide samples when necessary
  • maintain sanitary work environment
  • generate customer satisfaction
  • respond quickly and appropriately to customer concerns
  • communicate customer complaints or concerns to manager
  • follows health, safety, and sanitation standards for all products at all times
  • stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food, paper goods, and other products to assure a smooth service period
  • handles, stores, and rotates all products properly
  • assists in food prep and packing assignments during off-peak periods as needed
  • opens and or closes the shop as needed
  • follows the opening/closing checklist, assisting others as needed
  • clean floors, counters, equipment as directed
