Job Requirements
- must pass pre-employment reference screen and background check
- proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
- minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service and barista role
- knowledge of cash management preferred
- ability to work well with others or independently
- good memory and manual dexterity
- knowledge of sanitation regulations desired
- ability to work under pressure
- strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the ministry
- ability to communicate with grace, respect, and humility
- physical ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- comfortable working in a typical office environment with public interaction
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or relevant training
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- prior barista experience preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work independently or collaboratively
- strong memory skills
- knowledge of sanitation preferred

Job Duties
- greet customers and identify their needs
- answer questions about menu items
- prepare and serve coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, chai, and similar beverages
- prepare and serve limited food items or baked goods such as muffins and bagels
- operate cash register and follow cash handling policies
- order, receive, and distribute stock supplies to maintain fully stocked service stations
- clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, equipment, dishes, and seating area
- stock coffee products, supplies, and merchandise
- participate in ministry-wide initiatives and team events
- support and uphold safety and sanitation standards
- demonstrate a positive and energetic influence in workplace culture
