Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience preferred but willing to train
  • ability to work full time with varying schedule including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • basic math and cash handling skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior barista experience preferred
  • customer service skills
  • ability to operate POS systems
  • knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • willingness to learn training provided
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes
  • enters orders accurately into POS device
  • accepts cash and charge payments
  • replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies
  • maintains cleanliness of service area
  • ensures proper presentation and portion control following HACCP standards
  • maintains sanitation of equipment and utensils
  • cleans workstation thoroughly
  • greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
  • serves customers efficiently preventing delays
  • explains menu items accurately to customers
  • advocates selling techniques to customers
  • merchandises display foods attractively
  • performs other duties as assigned
