Job Requirements

Passion for customer service
one plus years working as a barista in specialty coffee or two plus years in non-specialty coffee in high volume fast paced environment
ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
strong organizational and detail orientation
experience using a point of sale system
strong interpersonal and verbal communication
ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Job Qualifications

ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
well-organized and detail oriented

Job Duties

Follows BL recipes and presentation standards in a timely manner
manages coffee shop equipment and tool cleaning and maintenance
follows BL operating procedures including completing transactions accurately and following safety measures
dials machine and maintains consistent espresso extraction per brew ratios
educates and upsells customers on menu items
trains and acclimates baristas in training
contributes to innovations to improve workflow and speed of service
fosters a cohesive team and encourages brand culture
reports supplier issues timely
delivers efficient, high quality products
conducts monthly coffee and process audits
manages coffee product rotation and ordering
minimizes waste through proper ordering
interacts with locals enthusiastically and personally delivers drinks
maintains cleanliness of bar and workspace
completes store opening and closing procedures
adheres to grooming guidelines
