Job Duties

  • Greet customers with a friendly demeanor
  • Share updates on food and beverage menus and answer customer questions about ingredients
  • Take orders with attention to detail including preferences for coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios
  • Perform day-to-day operations including food and beverage preparation, proper use of coffee equipment, and reporting maintenance needs
  • Keep the bar area clean and maintain quality control of products
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Handle cash and operate a POS system
  • Record timecard accurately including breaks
  • Track supplies and report shortages
  • Complete financial reporting per shift
  • Work independently or with others to deliver quality and consistency to customers
  • Resolve customer challenges with excellent customer service
  • Build friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and ensure outstanding experience
  • Increase sales and customer count through meeting Cafe Elite performance objectives
  • Communicate regularly with the stand manager and provide feedback on customer preferences and recommendations for new menu items
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as stated in the Employee Handbook
  • Attend meetings at the corporate office as required
  • Develop content for social media and training when requested
  • Actively participate in recruiting talent for the team
  • Collaborate respectfully with co-workers and management across company platforms
  • Set and meet performance goals and objectives
