Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handler Certificate required
  • TABC certification required
  • Minimum one year experience as a cashier or prior customer service experience
  • Must speak, read, and understand English fluently
  • Ability to lift and move approximately 15 pounds
  • Ability to perform safety and emergency procedures
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach daily
  • Ability to use point of sale equipment
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained repetitive motion and fine motor skills
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and read and write effectively
  • Ability to sustain direct public contact with high customer service engagement

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handler Certificate
  • Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) certification
  • Minimum one year experience as a cashier or in customer service
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and customer service best practices
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and operate point-of-sale equipment
  • Capability to work in extreme temperatures and perform repetitive tasks

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, or specialty beverages
  • Take orders and serve baked goods and sandwiches
  • Describe menu items to guests and suggest appealing products
  • Order, receive, and stock supplies or retail products
  • Use upselling and suggestive selling techniques to increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store including counters and brewing equipment
  • Assist in training new employees and attend product knowledge sessions
