Job Requirements

Valid SD Food Handler card
ability to work 15 or more hours per week
written, oral and verbal English proficiency
ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds
reliable transportation
willingness to adhere to company policies and dress code
successful completion of training
availability to work flexible hours
commitment to punctuality and attendance

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in a coffee shop or bakery is preferred
strong verbal and written communication skills in English
ability to operate coffee equipment is a plus
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
enthusiasm for customer service and teamwork

Job Duties

Prepare and bake cookies following established recipes and quality standards
operate coffee brewing equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and baking areas
assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks as needed
uphold food safety and sanitation standards including proper handling and storage of ingredients
engage positively with customers providing excellent hospitality
support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture
