Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of barista experience preferred
  • ability to work an on-call schedule with variable days and hours
  • capability to perform physical tasks related to food and beverage preparation
  • ability to follow HACCP guidelines
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to operate POS systems
  • must be able to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of espresso and coffee preparation techniques
  • ability to handle cash and POS systems accurately

Job Duties

  • Prepares espresso orders accurately using standard recipes
  • enters customer orders into POS device and handles payment transactions
  • replenishes condiments and supplies while maintaining cleanliness
  • ensures food presentation, portion control, and proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment and utensils
  • cleans workstation and equipment thoroughly after shifts
  • greets customers courteously and addresses concerns to supervisors
  • serves customers efficiently to prevent delays
  • explains daily menu items clearly to customers
  • applies selling techniques to assist customer buying decisions
  • ensures attractive merchandising and neat food presentation
  • performs other duties as assigned
